Chetwynd Echo: Local performers at coffee house showcase range
Dawson Creek singer Dori Braun impressed with a Chrissie Hynde like sound but mandolin troubles led to a guitar turn. Christian and the Boys delivered a strong set with original lines about quitting smoking. Newcomers Beattie and Guillet offered guitar briskness and an original closer. Clem Morton riffed on Jingle Bells amid automotive industry chatter. Shannon Ingersoll led a crowd sing along blending When the Saints Come Marching In Swing Low and Amazing Grace.
