Greetings from Germany by Katie Galbraith diary update
Katie Galbraith reports a Canadian exchange student life in Germany during Oktoberfest week. She describes no school or work, local fair activities, Youth Fire Brigade volunteering, line dancing, Karneval Club dances, train trips to Erfurt, food differences, German lessons, and November plans including wild pig hunting with her counselor and meeting other exchange students. She clarifies a misunderstanding about an article she wrote for the newspaper noting pubs are family-friendly and that drinking rules are informal with host approval.
