Shane Larsen of the Man in Motion Committee accepted a $500 donation from Sally Campbell of the Chetwynd Lioness Club at the Country Squire Inn. Proceeds from sales of sweatshirts, golf shirts, hats, and pins fund a term deposit for the Man in Motion Fund, with interest payable when Rick Hansen travels through Chetwynd in March or April. A Heart of a Dragon video for $19.95 is available, with orders via Shane Larsen or Laura Hauser. Next committee meeting is at the Rec Centre 4:30.

District Council Hears Tender and Tax Loss Projections
District Council met with attendees including Pat Barton and Willard Dunn. Dunn tendered 20000 for bowling alley Lot 14 Block D P1 8869 with a midnight November 19 deadline. Council refused direct student aid for Provincials, exploring wage work instead. Tax depreciation analysis suggested ~80000 loss this year plus ongoing inflation impacts.
