Local musician Shannon Ingersoll plans Fort St John CD release
Shannon Ingersoll, a Fort St John based singer songwriter, hosts her first CD release party for Heart Songs on December 1 at Paddison's Brewing. The event features Ian Smith, Wendy Coogan, and Hugh Spinney. Ingersoll moved to Chetwynd last year after years of music study and performance, including a Rocking the Peace finalist spot. The album, five years in the making, blends storytelling folk songs with poetry set to music and was recorded at Peace FM. She aims to continue collaborating with local musicians and touring Canada in support of future projects.
