Groundbirch to Saturn pipeline phase two eyed for August start
TransCanada reports progress on the Groundbirch Mainline Saturn section with 78 kilometres of 36 inch pipe laid from Alberta to Progress Groundbird and a north west 24 kilometre extension. NEB filing planned by year end with construction expected to begin in August next year and a preliminary project cost around 64 million. Residents noted minimal opposition at a recent open house.
