Keith Playter of the Chetwynd Elks Lodge gave $200 to Barb Boisvert for the Community Thrift Shop run by Education Development Society. The shop trains youth from Chetwynd Secondary School in public interaction and clothes washing with carpentry tasks during renovations. The EDS, a non profit, has improved the building and bought equipment, with future plans to redo the washrooms.
