The Chetwyd RCMP Highway Patrol Unit reports three people have died in a crash under active investigation. No charges have been laid and names are withheld pending next of kin notification. One pickup occupant has been released, and the remaining occupant will be released soon.

Ferdinard Regensburger paid a 100 dollar fine after pleading guilty to refusing to leave a licensed establishment. Ronald Gervais received 14 days in jail plus 3 months probation for driving while impaired. Gervais also faced a 500 dollar fine or 30 days in default for narcotics possession. Bench warrants were issued for eight individuals: Earl Halsall Kelly Primeau Robert Burnett Christopher Zacharias Russell Walter Gary Paquette David Beynon and Randy Byers.
