Journey of Northern Vision Show and Sale of Work opens in November
Local visual artists prepare a month long exhibit at the former People's Drug Mart location with Butch Gerry supporting the setup. Artists will add new pieces, accept commissions, and the public is invited to view and buy. Four Arts Council members attended a Vancouver conference on Community Art and returned energized. Plans for an Arts Centre move forward with leasing approval and fundraising. The council approved waiving rental charges for a December 6 church concert and agreed to arrange a Talent Night for August. The year ends with a final meeting on December 4 at 6 30 PM at the Chetwynd Public Library.
