Trapping Regulations Change in British Columbia Plan
Environment Minister Stephen Rogers announced the 1981 82 trapping regulations introducing limits on trap sizes near dwellings and require new trappers to complete an approved education course. The changes designate the black bear as a fur bearer with restrictions on traps, plus potential future bans on leg hold traps. Copies are available from Victoria and regional offices.
