Peacelanders Drive Collects 621 Food Items for Charity
The Peacelanders Pathfinder Club collected 621 non perishables and canned goods in two and a half hours on October 30. Residents of Chetwynd donated for the Annual Christmas Hamper Stocking fund after door knocking from end to end, returning to the Seventh Day Adventist church. Participants included Tami Astleford, David Barrett, Melora Nichols, Danny Sawchuk, Kristin Bunker, Shawna Disher, Jonathan Barrett, Syrena Martin, Kevin Bunker, Ryan Fowler, Jamie-Lynn Vipond, Peter Nichols, with drivers Peggy Gender and Cathy Astleford among others.
