Chetwynd Chamber Plans Public Facility Push and March 7 Parade
The Chetwynd Chamber of Commerce formed in late February aims to rapidly expand tourist and public facilities with signage on approaches and a March 7 publicity parade. Two near term investigations will study extending public water systems and lowering electric rates. The report notes a 150 pupil Little Prairie School and recalls local pioneer trade posts, cattle camps, and early store developments along the Pine River corridor.
