Predicted migration shift seen at Moberly Lake feeding tables
On October 27 at Moberly Lake the junco, pine siskin, sparrow types, starling, robin, and other birds vanished from feeding tables, possibly due to climatic changes or migration. Regular wintering birds such as woodpeckers, grosbeaks, chickadees, red polls, magpies, and blue jays continue visiting as nights lengthen and grow colder.
