Chetwynd students push We Day action locally and globally
Chetwynd Secondary School Me to We group shifts energy to hunger relief in the community and a Sierra Leone school project. The yearlong We Create Change campaign aims to raise funds with bricks costing twenty dollars for a Sierra Leone schoolhouse, plus food drives and donation boxes at CSS IGA Bargain Shop and Supervalu for the Tansi Friendship Centre Food Bank. Me to We members recall Vancouver We Day 2013 as inspiring and empowering, with speakers from around the world and a call to action for ongoing student-led projects.
