We Day volunteers serve at Salvation Army Belkin House
Students from a Vancouver program turned their We Day empowerment into action by cooking and serving a meal at the Salvation Army Belkin House. Teacher Katelyn McNeice praised their energy and respect as clients shared conversation. Partial funding came from a $500 Hungry for Your Ideas grant, with one more dinner planned for Nov 24 and proposals due by 4:00 p.m. prior Thursday.
