Chetwynd Air Cadets On The Road Again
Chetwynd's Little Giant Air Cadet Squadron travelled to Prince George over the long weekend with nineteen cadets, chaperone Valerie Atkings and bus pilot Ron Duscharme. The trip hosted glider familiarization flights and the Northern Cadet Sports Weekend, with cadets from multiple BC communities. The squadron placed fifth in sports standings, and earned several individual recognitions despite a single eight member team entry. Their next event is the third annual inspection on June 2 at the Chetwynd arena, with public attendance invited. On Sunday June 3 flights will be offered in a Twin Otter from CFB Esquimalt at Chetwynd Municipal Airport. Air cadets welcome youths ages 12 to 19.
