Ozone Filtering System Boosts Chetwynd Pool Safety
Recreation Co ordinator Ron Poole touts an ozone filtering system as the key to water clarity and reduced chemical odors at Chetwynd Pool. He notes ozone disinfects by destroying bacteria and outperforming chlorine, though maintenance can be slow where not common in B C. The facility carries two chemical feeders to switch to chlorine if ozone fails, with plans to train staff for safe operation.
