No ordinary athlete finds power in sport and hope
Daniel Wesley, a Canadian disabled athlete, lost both legs in a grade six train accident and rose to world class status in wheelchair alpine skiing and tennis. He won four events at the 1997 Disabled Alpine World Cup Finals in Pro Loupe, France, credits family support, and works with The Esteem Team to inspire youth. He trains for next year’s Olympic downhill and emphasizes meditation and self belief.
