Double Homicide Shocks Tumbler Ridge In Hit and Run
RCMP in Tumbler Ridge charged 43 year old Raymond Albert Dupras with two counts of second degree murder after he struck estranged wife Doreen Dupras and friend Paul Trevisanutto with a pickup on Mackenzie Way and fled. He was found at home attempting suicide before being taken to hospital and later jailed. Dupras has a violence history and was on probation for assaulting his former wife with restraining orders in place.
