Local adventure race tests endurance and skills
Chetwynd hosts Peace Christian School's Fourth Annual Adventure Race on the weekend of June 6. Dozens of three person teams ride, run and paddle over a 50 kilometre course with 30-35 km biking, 10-12 km running and eight km canoeing. Five to eight hours is expected, with A and B sides to ease newcomers.
