Pioneer life in miniature delights visitors at dam displays
Don Nearhood's detailed hobby recreates horse drawn farm gear and a 29 foot wagon train with 4,050 pieces. He built all but the horses, sewing the tiny outfits and explaining how the craft grew from a wagon wheel to a full four-display exhibit opened with BC Hydro funding at Peace Canyon Dam visitors centre after 1992 visitor interest.
