Calgar y speedskater Morrison recovering after crash
Olympic speedskater Denny Morrison 29 remains in Foothills Hospital after a motorcycle collision with a Toyota Corolla caused his fracture and surgery to install a metal rod. Spokesman Patrick Godbout said injuries are serious but not life threatening and a police report is awaited. Morrison, Olympic gold medalist in Vancouver, could walk with assistance in 4 to 6 weeks and may be out of training for about three months. He faces possible charges for his role in the crash and previously injured his left fibula in 2012.
