Snowmobile theft leads to high speed RCMP chase in Dawson Creek
On May 7 2003 at 0740 hours Dawson Creek RCMP responded to a theft in progress near Louisiana Pacific property. A red four door pickup with two occupants led police on a long pursuit ending when spike belts disabled tires. suspects fled on foot. One male driver 29 prohibited from driving, a female suspect arrested, Derek John Elliott 34 wanted on a parole warrant. Investigation ongoing.
