SD59 faces $750000 in bus cuts under new funding
Chetwynd area parents were told SD59 transport funding is cut by 750000 or 23 percent of the prior 3.3 million and phased in over three years. The district plans to eliminate routes and raise private-school fees while consulting for efficiency to protect rider service amid vast territory and sparse population.
