The Hudson's Hope Recreation Mixed Slowpitch League started May 2 at Pearkes School with District of Hudson's Hope defeating J & J Substop 26 to 14. Dan Eastman led J & J's with a hit and a nine inning strikeout.
Our Special Thanks the Boy Scout and Girl Guides thank the Community of Chetwynd for continual support and donations to the Thrift Shop opened February 1978. The Shop offers used clothing and miscellaneous items with volunteers and professionals among its supporters. For information contact Chuck at the District Office or the Hudson's Hope tourism center.
The Boy Scouts and Girl Guides run the Thrift Shop a joint venture. Stock changes twice yearly with spring and summer clothing now available. Open six days a week from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 to 4:00 pm. A volunteer management committee handles daily operations led by Armand Major, Loni Kelm, Janet Lawson, and Susan Callihoo. We extend sincere thanks to all contributors.
