PetroCan tanker rolls near Chetwynd on Highway 97
A PetroCan tanker rolled at about 5 p.m. on May 3 near the East Pine bridge injuring driver Lyle Barclay and passenger Anthony Axilia. Both were hospitalized in stable condition. Diesel spilled into a ditch, about 45 000 litres, with officials preventing a river spill. Damages estimated at 100 000. RCMP investigating. no charges yet.
