Laboratory technicians meet Peace requirements
The South Peace area has enough trained hospital laboratory technicians to meet demand, says Saint Joseph General Hospital administrator Gene Cassavant. He notes Mackenzie’s lab shortfall, Dawson Creek’s help, and Pouce Coupe’s reliance on Saint Joseph’s for lab work. Salaries range from 667.50 to 1033 per month. A BCIT Burnaby two year tech course may ease northern shortages. The Grade 11 Bottle Drive and Chevron Car Wash on May 12 raise funds for a Vancouver trip.
