Boundary Expansion Rejected by Walter Energy over Tax Costs

The District of Chetwynd revisits a 1995 satellite boundary expansion that would include Enersul Sulphur Plant Tembec pulp mill Spectra Energy gas plant behind West Fraser Willow Creek mine. Walter Energy reversed support in 2013 citing unclear payback as metallurgical coal prices fell.
