Chetwynd Receives 15589 From Climate Action Program
CHETWYND district lands 15 589 in carbon tax credits from the provincial government as part of BC climate action funding. The CARIP grant supports carbon neutral goals by 2012 and requires public reporting of plans and progress. Other communities, including Dawson Creek, Tumbler Ridge, and Madson's Hope, also receive CARIP funds through the program.
