Walk-in clinic opens to ease Chetwynd medical demand
Chetwynd Medical Clinic launches a three month trial walk-in service to reduce non urgent cases and relieve pressure on the local emergency department at Chetwynd and District Hospital. Manager Jody Johanson says the clinic helps residents without family doctors receive timely care and is evaluated for continuation. Hours start 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with patients seen by the on duty physician.
