Gwillim Lake Outdoor Environmental Study Centre Beginnings
The Gwillim Lake site grew from Pat O Reilly’s wilderness education dream with backing from School District No 59. Built on the south lake shore with hand hewn cabins, a central building, and a self contained power plant, it hosts year round student visits and volunteer construction by locals and companies.
