Rusk becomes first female RCMP sergeant in Chetwynd
Rusk, who joined in 1993, reflects on the rise of women in the RCMP since the early days. She moved from Dawson Creek to Chetwynd after serving as watch commander and other posts. With about half her career in First Nation Policing, she embraces ongoing changes and expects a new corporal to join the detachment this spring, bringing staff to ten.
