Trend-Roman Mine Plans Two Phase Permits Under Mines Act
Anglo American funds strategy for a two phase Trend Roman mine with phase one water management and sediment control works starting summer 2013. The second phase adds open pits roads and waste rock dumps north of Roman pits while selenium management and site stockpiles expand. The company earmarks 2.5 million for conservation and sets aside 1852 hectares for caribou habitat.
