Chetwynd Lions Club Funds Students To Ottawa Conference
The Chetwynd Lions Club gave $500 each to Naomi Owens and Suzanne Gardiner to attend a Ottawa based conference that educates youths on the Canadian government system. Leo Sabulsky accepted the cheque for the students. The club, with eight members, raises funds via bingos and raffles and supports lifeskills and blind and children’s programs locally.
