Chetwynd flags half mast for Mayerthorpe RCMP deaths
Residents in Chetwynd express anger that flags were not lowered for four RCMP officers killed near Mayerthorpe Alberta earlier this month. Mayor Evan Sangstad says a formal decision was needed while other nearby towns lowered flags and observed a day of mourning. The council later passed a resolution thanking the RCMP members for their service.
