Northern Health vows Chetwynd Hospital will stay open
Northern Health says it has no plan to close Chetwynd Hospital. The district’is clinic plan slated for June is being designed as a turn key practice with space, clerical, and supply support. Community services will relocate to the new clinic to support incoming and existing physicians. Master planning for the hospital will consider potential service enhancements while maintaining the hospital as part of a collaborative district model. Delegates will attend the Rural Emergency Continuum of Care Conference to promote Chetwynd to doctors and recruit new staff.
