Little Prairie and Dokie updates from School District 59
In Little Prairie Elementary Miss Lee returns from Australia while Miss Hill enjoys a long summer. Crosswalk dangers on 52A Ave prompt RCMP monitoring and steep fines. Basketball teams, coached by Mrs Havard and Ms Bomberger, prepare for a March 28 tourney. Internet access requires parental permission and strict usage penalties. Dokie Elementary reports a Louisiana trip for staff development, PAC meetings, and a 17-player basketball squad with weekly games and lunch practices. Chetwynd Secondary invites parent interviews, highlights Crystal Gerstel’s park proposal, and notes drama department activities, including the Paris: Escape festival plans and Dry Grad fundraising.
