Coaching Amateur Sports Certification Push Draws Local Help
The Chetwynd Recreation Centre hosts Amateur Hockey Coaching Level 1 on March 28 and 29 to train volunteers amid pushes for mandatory coaching certification. With only four registrants and a required eight more, organizers warn the course may be cancelled. the $75 fee and travel costs for small communities add barriers to certification.
