Brown's sustained fundraising runs for recovery centre support
Brown undertakes daily 30 to 33 kilometre walks to raise funds for the Northern Lights Recovery Centre. Her prior efforts include an August run of 61 kilometres that raised 11,000 dollars for a Burns Lake bible camp. She continues despite injuries and delays, saying her heart won’t let her refuse a worthy cause as the centre plans 20 beds for men and women with possible youth expansion.
