WCB to adopt universal merit system for logging sector
Ron Hunter outlined a new fee assessment plan effective January 1 1986 at a logging contractors safety seminar sponsored by Cantor Mill. The system ties premiums to industry averages, with up to 30 percent merit or demerit rating and a two year payout window for fatal or serious claims.
