Chetwynd Eyes Summer Road and Sidewalk Upgrades
Chetwynd council directs staff to solicit tenders for a $320000 road program and $65000 in sidewalks this summer. Planned work includes profiling North and South Access Roads for about $200000, 48th St profiling for $20000, 45th Ave to Redi-Mix around $6895, an asphalt foot path on the North Access Road for about $45000, and two sidewalk projects from the Post Office to 50th St and to Little Lights Daycare costing roughly $20705 and $38571 respectively. Additional paving in Crown Subdivision areas is budgeted at $70000 to $80000. Tenders will be issued soon with work expected to start mid July.
