Chetwynd Tourism Plan Seeks Seasonal Upgrades and Events
A proposed annual clean up and storefront refresh seeks to attract tourists by reworking the eastern entrance with shrubs and flowers while balancing trees. The plan integrates the all purpose centre into marketing efforts, links with Dawson Creek and Ft. St. John, expands destination events, and uses NLC talent for market research while ensuring broad access through town papers. The chairman should remain independent of council roles to avoid political entanglements.
