Chetwynd residents seek options at Site C open house
At the BC Hydro Site C open house in Chetwynd on June 16, residents pressed for alternatives to Site C and raised concerns about costs environment and consultation. Councillor Merlin Nichols urged road and economic impacts, while Dave Conway noted strong engagement and requests for clearer facts and safer project practices. The meeting marked the second stage of BC Hydro’s five stage Site C consultation plan with more sessions planned for fall.
