Sex Teens Through The 90s Speech At Toastmasters Dinner
The Little Giant Toastmasters summer dinner at Harv's Resort drew over 20 members and guests. Brent Holtby presented his second speech titled Sex and Teens Through the 90s urging parents to discuss sex with teens, drawn from his experience at 16 after a friend died of AIDS. Robert Felton delivered Close Encounters of The Verbal Kind, outlining a five step method to handle anger and avoid escalation. Toastmasters emphasizes practice, feedback, and growth for speakers, with meetings resuming September in the Cantor boardroom.
