Chetwynd RCMP Officers Named to Alexa's Team

Chetwynd RCMP Cpl. Brian Hromadnik and Cst. Adam Taylor honored May 7 for removing 46 impaired drivers in 2014 while Alexa's Team highlights Duncan Creek officers and gatherings. Dawson Creek officers listed including 139 impaired-driver removals, with Cst. Mike Sabulsky of Chillwack acknowledged for 102 removals. Sabulsky, son of Chetwynd Fire Chief Leo Sabulsky, helped launch Peace FM in 1997.

Site C could power new transmission line in South Peace

BC Hydro explores using Site C to supply the Peace Region Electrical Supply project. Eleven routes are considered, linking to the GM Shrum Generating Station. PRES may not start until 2022, making Site C viable with completion in 2025. Field crews string lines for DCAT as demand rises from Groundbirch natural gas operations.
