Adventure Race brings teams from BC and Alberta to Chetwynd
The PCS Adventure Race drew 66 participants from Chetwynd Kelowna Tumbler Ridge McBride and Lacombe on June 8. Teams biked ran and canoed on Moberly Lake with four open categories and top times from 4:46 to 9:05. A Tumbler Ridge team earned best sportsmanship and helped others on course, prompting praise from PCS Principal Darren Shankel. Organizers reported positive feedback and plan to run the event again next year.
