Retiring BC Air Cadet Captain Astrid Minnick funds farewell
Astrid Minnick retires after over 25 years with the BC Air Cadet Society ending her tenure as CO of Little Giant Squadron 258 in Chetwynd. Cadets, parents, and supporters gathered at a Legion party to honor her leadership from security staff to commanding officer of camps and pilot wing achievements for 29 cadets. Capt Sal Bafaro will assume command at the Dawson Creek and Chetwynd squadrons as Minnick passes the baton to continue youth development in the region.
