Actors stage mock crash to warn grads about drinking and driving
On Thursday June 6 2002 CHET FM TV held a simulated traffic crash to promote graduation safety. Dawn Pitt from CHET FM promoted the slogan Pick your ride Cab or Casket as Reynars Funeral Home and Little Prairie Cabs supported the scene with responders from Fire Department RCMP and BC Ambulance present. Jan Sabulski directed student actors to resemble accident victims with makeup, torn clothes and fake blood to heighten realism.
