Japanese cyclist completes seven month North American trek
Toshikazu Shimazaki, 19, finished a seven month 12 000 kilometer journey started August 26 in Anchorage Alaska. He rode via the Alaska Highway through Fort Nelson Liard Hot Springs Fort St John Dawson Creek to Chetwynd before arriving in Guatemala on March 20. He sought challenge and cultural contact to tell Yokohama residents about environmental issues.
