Quads on public road chase ends with escapes in Chetwynd
Chetwynd RCMP responded Sunday evening to two males driving erratic quads on a public road in Crown Subdivision. The suspects fled after police located them at 52nd Street and North Access Road and escaped on a quad trail toward Mount Baldy. Both were in their late teens or early twenties, wearing distinctive outfits and sunglasses, with Mohawk-style haircuts. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact RCMP or Crimestoppers. Quads on public roads subject to Highway Traffic Act and Criminal Code charges with seizure and impoundment of vehicles.
