In a letter to the Editor the Pine Valley Seniors are praised for launching a fundraiser to support Assisted Living Housing in Chetwynd. The writer hopes Northern Health will recognize the urgency for such facilities as the town pushes forward.
Since the 1990s seniors in Chetwynd urge assisted living housing. Northern Health and BC Housing have produced four units with no progress. Costs near a million dollars hinder building, while efforts by Pine Valley Seniors Association and other groups persist. Meetings are the fourth Thursday at the Seniors Hall on 47th Avenue for donations with receipts for tax purposes. Wayne Rose
